The DoggieBox screen is password-protected for security. Access to your orders can only be gained with your unique password.
No-one wants to watch a screen to check for new orders, so the DoggieBox system makes an ringing sound to alert you to a new order. It is also easy to tell the new orders from the completed ones - the new ones appear in red until you 'acknowledge' them to the customer. On the order you see:
- customer name, address, phone number and email address
- 'the order' including notes about dishes (or the entire order)
- whether it is for collection or delivery (if you offer delivery)
- date and time requested
What can I do if the order looks 'wrong'?
You can reject any order - simply choose the REJECT ORDER option instead of ACKNOWLEDGE. The email sent to the customer asks them to phone you to confirm it is genuine rather than resubmitting the order.
How does the customer know we have received their order?
Your customers receive emails automatically at preset stages of the order - you don't have to do anything - it's automatic:
- When they place the order they receive a CONFIRMATION email
- When you ACKNOWLEDGE the order
- When you COMPLETE the order
- If you REJECT an order
What about collection and delivery times. Can I increase them if we are busy?
There are control buttons on your 'Home Page' where you can adjust the time for either collected orders or for delivered order (if delivery is offered).
